Possession – People v. Christopher K.

Our client was observed by officers parked in front of a home that was connected to drug sales. He was then followed and stopped for a traffic infraction by narcotics officers. The officers brought a drug-sniffing dog to the scene and eventually found methamphetamine in the vehicle’s trunk.  We filed a motion to suppress the illegal search of the vehicle and argued to the judge. The judge ruled that the client’s rights were violated by the search and the case was dismissed.
